Saturday 11th July – windsurf *

After such a fantastic bike ride things had to go wrong:( It was a fantastic warm sunny day but not much wind but I decided to rig big and take my little camera over to Bawdsey beach to take some pics. Loads of Felixstowe Ferry youngsters were out in the bay in front of the Golf course :) The winds were light but I got planing in short bursts but then I actually fell in :( I landed on a small shingle island to take a pic of Bawdsey Manor and the River Deben but my little camera was dead!!! Sea water had got into the two bags I had it in :( I then had a slow beat back to the van to dry out the camera and wait for the breeze to freshen but sadly the wind just got lighter and the camera is dead! Might be more wind tomorrow?
